Skin Boosters
Skin boosters are injectable skin-quality treatments designed to improve hydration, radiance, luminosity, texture and overall skin smoothness.
Unlike dermal fillers, skin boosters are not used to reshape the face or add visible volume. They are placed superficially into the skin to support hydration, elasticity, glow and overall skin quality from within.
Depending on the product used, skin boosters may contain hyaluronic acid, amino acids, peptides, vitamins, antioxidants or other skin-supporting ingredients.

What the treatment involves
Your appointment begins with a consultation and skin assessment to review your concerns, skin condition, medical history, suitability and treatment goals.
The treatment area is cleansed and prepared. The skin booster is then placed into the superficial layers of the skin using a series of small injection points.
The exact technique depends on the product used, the area treated and the condition of the skin. Small amounts of product are placed across the treatment area to support hydration, elasticity, smoothness, radiance and overall skin quality.
You may feel mild stinging, pressure or small pinches during treatment. Numbing may be used where appropriate, depending on the product and treatment area.
After treatment, the skin is checked and full aftercare advice is provided.
Treatment approach
Skin boosters are selected according to the skin concern, treatment area, skin condition and desired result.
The treatment is designed to improve hydration, radiance, luminosity, texture and overall skin quality, without adding facial volume or changing facial structure.
Skin boosters may be suitable for clients who want fresher, smoother, more hydrated, glowy and light-reflective skin, as well as those concerned with dryness, crepiness, fine lines, tired-looking skin or loss of glow.
Under-eye skin boosters may be considered for selected clients with dehydration, fine lines or crepey under-eye skin. They are not suitable for every under-eye concern. Puffiness, eye bags, deep hollows or pigmentation-related dark circles may require a different approach.
The aim is gradual improvement in skin condition, radiance, glow and overall skin quality, not facial reshaping.
Who it is suitable for
Skin boosters may be suitable if your skin looks dull, tired, dry, dehydrated, crepey or less radiant, or if you want a fresher and more polished skin appearance without adding volume.
They can be used for the face, neck, décolletage and selected under-eye concerns where suitable.
This treatment may suit clients who want a more active skin-quality treatment than facials, peels or topical skincare alone, especially where the goal is hydration, glow, smoother texture and healthier-looking skin.
Skin boosters are not suitable for everyone. Treatment may need to be delayed or avoided if there is active infection, inflamed acne in the area, pregnancy, breastfeeding, allergy to ingredients, certain medical conditions, poor healing or a compromised skin barrier.
Results
After treatment, the skin may gradually appear more hydrated, smoother, fresher and more radiant.
Some improvement may be visible after one session, but best results usually come from a course, especially where dehydration, fine lines, crepey texture or loss of elasticity are more noticeable.
Skin boosters do not lift sagging skin, remove deep wrinkles or replace dermal filler. Their purpose is to improve skin quality, hydration, glow and texture.
Results vary depending on the product used, skin condition, lifestyle, homecare and individual response.
Downtime
Temporary redness, mild swelling, tenderness, small bumps, injection marks or minor bruising may occur after treatment.
Small bumps can be visible immediately after treatment and usually settle as the product disperses.
After treatment, you will usually need to avoid makeup, heat treatments, intense exercise, alcohol, exfoliating acids, retinoids and direct sun exposure for the advised period.
Daily SPF is important after the initial healing period, especially when maintaining skin quality and protecting against pigmentation and premature ageing.
Pricing
Prices vary depending on the product selected, treatment area and treatment plan.
